At home, in the public arena and at work, there is still a long way to go for gender equity.
Browsing through History and examples drawn from various parts of the world, we will zoom into the modern workplace and your particular industry in order to uncover a broad range of discriminations, sometimes benevolent or seemingly harmless, but always based on stereotypes regarding mostly gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical abilities, religion etc..
But where do prejudices and biases come from, and where do they kick in, particularly at work? What is at stake for businesses and the economy and why are governments around the world trying so hard to promote gender equity? The aim of this conference is to raise awareness and also to equip participants with hand-on tools and a positive mindset. Based on abundant real-life examples and best practices, participants consistently walk out eager to contribute to a more inclusive workplace.
