Inequalities Society Economic violence Prevention

Hélène Gherbi is the founder of FEMCA, the 1st personal finance and investment training platform for women. An investor in real estate and the financial markets for several years, Hélène campaigns for greater democratization of investment among women.
In France today, more than 4 out of 10 women are victims of economic violence, a form of control that remains largely invisible and unrecognized.
This violence is part of a wider system of financial inequality: only 22% of women are able to invest to prepare for the future (vs. 36% of men), receive 40% lower pensions and are over-represented among insecure single-parent families (82% are headed by women). This conference has been designed for companies wishing to engage their employees in understanding and acting on these mechanisms of economic domination. It will answer the following questions:
What is economic violence?
How can it be prevented, recognized and acted upon?
And finally, how can we collectively contribute to change for a more economically just society?
