Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly central role in our lives, influencing areas as diverse as health, recruitment and education.

Yet behind this technological revolution, gender bias often creeps into algorithms, inherited from historical data or poor diversity in design teams. For example, automated recruitment systems have already been accused of systematically favouring male applicants. These biases, far from being harmless, contribute to reinforcing existing inequalities and limiting opportunities for many women.

This conference aims to raise awareness of these crucial issues and share practices to ensure an inclusive and equitable AI, capable of meeting the needs of all. By emphasising the importance of diversity and ethics, we hope to inspire positive change in the way AI is designed and used.
