Jodie is a trainer on disability inclusion with over 20 years' experience in the corporate world, including as a Global Accessibility Lead for a multinational company.
Most people identify disability with something that can be seen, like a wheelchair or a white cane... And yet, 80% of disabilities are invisible. Let's put an end to preconceived ideas!
This conference will enable participants to better understand that the majority of disabilities aren’t visible and that it is essential not to make assumptions.
Through this conference, participants will learn:
The value and business benefits of disability inclusion
The difference between visible and non-visible disabilities
How to support psychological safety
Tips to create a culture of inclusion and belonging
About Jodie Greer
Jodie has been passionate about disability inclusion since childhood and has successfully enabled effective change around the world.
Jodie brings learnings from the lived experiences of thousands of deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people, providing the added value of a truly holistic lens. She understands that the subjects of disabilities and accessibility aren’t a comfort zone for everyone (yet!) and that these subjects can feel personal and emotive.
That’s why Jodie delivers workshops and conferences in an engaging and fun way, whilst considering different preferences, learning styles, accessibility needs, and neuro-inclusion.
