This workshop seeks to increase awareness of how unconscious biases affect our perceptions and interactions in the workplace.
We will explore the following questions:
In what ways do our cognitive biases influence our perceptions of others, including factors such as gender, age, sexual orientation, cultural or ethnic background, social origin, and academic background?
What are the unconscious biases that influence our judgments?
How do these biases impact our professional interactions and decision-making?
How can we acknowledge and address these biases to cultivate an inclusive, respectful, and equitable workplace?
By combining scientific studies, concrete examples and reflection exercises, this workshop will enable participants to better understand these subtle and often insidious mechanisms that shape our judgments and behaviors.
Participants will receive tangible tools and best practices to confront their own cognitive biases and help establish a workplace that embraces diversity and offers equal opportunities for all.
