Driven by a passion for transmitting and explaining, Valérie uses her 25 years of experience in companies, in France and abroad, to provide training and coaching.
In both French and English, her two mother tongues, with a good dose of energy and humor.
Ageism is not a discrimination like any other. It is widespread, it is exercised against a growing part of humanity and, above all, it is based on a paradox: each of us aspires to live a long life, and we know that this is, if not a privilege, at least a progress. So why do we hate getting old? Why do we blame our elders for their age? Why do we fight against time, knowing fully well that this fight is lost in advance? Why do we refuse to admit that aging is an opportunity for everyone, individuals and society?
Based on a historical and socio-demographic analysis, but also on personal experiences, including her own, Valerie Boas makes us think with humor about ageism, by decoding its manifestations and by giving us very concrete keys to help us fight it, by getting rid of injunctions and by looking our relationship with time squarely in the face.
