Neurodiversity in the workplace
Neurodiversity in the workplace
This workshop explores neurodiversity in the workplace, focusing on self-awareness, understanding others, and fostering inclusive practices across neurotypes.
The first section dives into what neurodiversity is, recognizing that most people may not be formally diagnosed. Participants will gain insights into different neurotypes, developing greater awareness of both their own and others' cognitive styles through interactive learning.
The second section examines working with a neurodivergence. Participants will explore the challenges and strengths associated with being neurodivergent, learning strategies to leverage their own abilities and manage difficulties on an individual level.
The final section focuses on working in neurodiverse teams, offering practical steps for inclusive communication, adapting work processes, and navigating differences. Participants will leave with concrete tools to enhance collaboration and create a supportive, neuro-inclusive workplace.
By the end of this workshop, you will be equipped to engage thoughtfully with neurodiversity and contribute to a more inclusive and empathetic work environment.
