This session aims to explore the intersections between LGBTQIA+ identities and neurodiversity, particularly in the workplace, through an engaging and educational approach designed to update and enrich participants' knowledge. The goal is to facilitate exchanges between LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, and those who do not share these identities.
It is structured around three main themes, along with a Q&A:
Intersectionality between LGBTQIA+ issues and neurodiversity: What is the contemporary significance of these terms? How can these identities intersect and influence individual experiences in the workplace?
In the workplace: We will delve into the complexities and opportunities of being openly LGBTQIA+ and/or neurodivergent in a professional setting. What strategies can be used to navigate these identities at work?
Creating an inclusive culture and environment: Sharing best practices and concrete recommendations for employers and colleagues from an interpersonal and structural perspective.
This inclusive approach ensures that everyone, regardless of their identity, can benefit from and contribute to a more understanding and supportive workplace.
