Attracting women to Tech teams
Attracting women to Tech teams
The representation of women in tech teams remains a major challenge for many companies, particularly in the start-up/scale-up ecosystem. The scarcity of female profiles can be partly explained by the fact that fewer women graduate from IT schools, but the lack of inclusion in certain environments, or a recruitment process that is a little too restrictive, can also provide interesting explanations, and above all areas for improvement that need to be explored.
Understanding when bias can come into play in the recruitment process and how to structure this process and make it even more objective is an essential key to building a more diverse and inclusive company. Being able to change the employer brand, sourcing, technical testing and decision-making processes can also be major step towards attracting and recruiting more women into tech teams.
Finally, an analysis of the extent to which the company's culture is inclusive and the associated recommendations will help to create the right conditions for female talents to thrive in the Tech team.
The purpose of this mission is to analyse each of these elements and provide you with an analysis of the strengths and areas for improvement, together with recommendations for concrete action.
